Power Grip Clutch

WPT Power Grip Clutches are designed to accommodate in-line and shaft-to-shaft power transmission applications with large inertia loads. Our air-tube design allows seamless, controlled engagement and disengagement with minimal air volume. Power Grip clutches allow for quick response, space-saving footprints, minimal maintenance requirements and are available in sizes ranging from 8” to 60”.

Power Grip High Speed Clutch

WPT Power Grip High Speed Clutches are designed to withstand severe applications mounted to internal combustion engines. The drive rings will fit standard SAE industrial flywheels. Heavy duty gear tooth friction discs are designed to withstand heavy shock loads and torsional vibrations.

Power Grip PO Clutch

WPT Power Grip PO Clutch is suitable for in-line and shaft-to-shaft power transmission applications. The design features a large diaphragm which provides maximum torque and compensation for wear over the clutch life. Oversized release springs and plate separators ensure quick positive plate separation.

Low Inertia Clutch

WPT Low Inertia Clutches and Brakes are suited for high cycle applications or general clutch/brake duties. With minimal part movement during start/stop, acceleration time is decreased leading to more cycles per minute. Designed for end-shaft mounting, typically on a flywheel.

Low Inertia High Torque Clutch

WPT Low Inertia High Torque Clutches are suited for high cycle applications or general clutch duties. This LI high torque clutch is designed for end-shaft mounting. This product is the ideal solution for applications such as, steel shears, metal forming, drawworks, yarders, fail safe brakes, marine winches and many more.

Water Cooled Brakes

WPT Water Cooled Brake (WCB) is a high energy absorbing solution used as a dynamic tensioning and static holding brake. The design of the internal water flow and copper alloy wear plates allows for greater heat dissipation characteristics. This is best suited for applications where a heavy-duty continuous slip tensioning is needed such as drawworks, mooring winches, dynamometers, paper mills, coilers and yarders.

Low Inertia Brake

WPT Low Inertia Brakes are suited for high cycle applications or general brake duties. These heavy duty brakes afford increased precision for your processes with minimal part movement during start and stop, acceleration time is decreased leading to more cycles per minute. WPT Low Inertia Heavy Duty brakes were designed to be mounted on an end-shaft, typically on a flywheel. These industrial brakes are ideal for use in a wide variety of applications across many industries such as oil & gas, grinding mills, metal & steel forming, and marine markets.

WPT Low Inertia Spring Set Brakes are a spring applied, air released brake ideal for high cycle or general brake/holding duties. These brakes are designed for through-shaft or end-shaft mounting, and provide applications with a fail-safe brake feature.

Pin Drive Spring Set

WPT Pin Drive Low Inertia is an air-cooled spring applied/air release brake. This brake is designed for low speed assist braking and parking/emergency stop conditions. The WPT Pin Drive Low Inertia is well suited for AC Drawworks applications.

Caliper Disc Brake

WPT Power Caliper Disc Brakes are an air-applied, spring-released disc brake caliper system. Manufactured of die cast silicon bronze and stainless-steel hardware, these industrial brakes calipers are designed to withstand the most corrosive environments. WPT caliper disc brakes are ideal for drilling and workover rigs, drawworks, marine winches, and forestry applications.

Power Set Brake

WPT Power Set Brake is a spring-set, air released brake. Large friction surfaces provide this design the capacity to dissipate large thermal loads. Offered in multiple torque capacities and release pressures, the WPT Power Set Brake is ideal for rope shovels and other mining applications.
